The bug

In a Superset dashboard, a Markdown component only went into edit mode if you clicked outside its content. Clicking the text you wanted to change did nothing. A maintainer filed it, and it was assigned to me.

Smaller is better

My first pull request changed the Markdown component itself. The fix that was merged is smaller: it lives entirely in WithPopoverMenu, the wrapper dashboard components use for their edit menus. A maintainer merged it on 1 April 2025.
